ZeroLight collaborated with Mirrorworks to transform automotive configuration into a more immersive and realistic customer experience by combining a highly configurable digital vehicle with a production-ready real-world environment.
Rather than presenting the vehicle in a traditional studio setting, Mirrorworks repurposed its existing Bala Road digital environment, adapting the location to allow the vehicle to drive in, come to a stop and be explored from every angle. ZeroLight integrated its advanced vehicle configurator, enabling customers to experience different specifications, colours and options within a believable real-world setting.
By reusing and extending an existing digital environment, the project demonstrated how production-ready assets can be rapidly adapted for entirely new commercial applications beyond film and television. The result delivers greater realism, stronger emotional engagement and a more meaningful understanding of how a vehicle looks and feels in its intended environment.
This collaboration is a powerful example of how reusable digital environments can unlock new experiences across automotive, marketing and interactive product visualisation, extending the value of a single environment far beyond its original production purpose.
